Anxiety Awareness

As being a sufferer of anxiety, I know how hard it is for others to know how to deal and cope with everything they are going through. Even though I have managed to deal with my anxiety in many ways there are still moments where it creeps up on me.

My anxiety is something which will be with me for the rest of my life and  I’ve accepted that. It’s something that makes me who I am. I’ve talked about my past experiences before in blog posts and I have gotten better but recently it has come back in into my life.

My anxiety stem from how stressed I am. I worry about the issues in my life (money, family, friends, boyfriend) and when I’ve sat down, sorted myself out and have solutions, I still feel uneasy about. Just the other day I went out with my boyfriend to the cinema and he told me that I was going to ask for the tickets which I panicked about but I managed to get myself ready. Came to our turn to get the tickets and I froze. Words wouldn’t come out my mouth. I felt so stupid and my boyfriend knew I had an anxiety moment and took over. I don’t think he has ever seen me experience a moment like that.

Anxiety is something which I have learnt to be able to control and I understand that most people are unable to do this so! I have a few tips and tricks for anxiety suffers or for those who know of others.

This link is to poster regarding facts on how to spot anxiety. I found this really helpful. It says to go to the GP to talk about it. I found this really hard to do this first time and if this is the same for you, I have a herbal option for you to try! Kalms Lavender One-a-day are the next option which have been proved to have similar results for others who have tried anti-anxiety medications. These are priced at 6.49GBP and can be found at most local pharmacists.

This video below is help to spot the symptoms of anxiety so if you are unsure if you have anxiety or are just stressed, please give this a watch so you are more aware and share with others.

As always, feel free to contact me on all my social media which is linked at the top of my home page if you ever need a chat or to get things off your chest. I’m always here.

Until next time, Lauren x

      1. That is so true. Writing and talking about it really helps, especially blogging about it, I find! You’re right there, it’s a great way to reach out to others
